I have to agree 110% Ralph. Its more about the relationship. If you invest in the relationship, sales will come. Think about your favorite restaurant. Is it you favorite because its the best food you've ever had or because you like the restaurant? Maybe the greeter remembers your name, knows you prefer a booth to a table, and your server know you prefer unsweetened tea. You got back to this restaurant because of the relationship. Oh, and you probably send other people there too... right?

I encourage people to stop marketing. Take a week off from "marketing" and spend that week building relationships, connecting peoples needs with solutions you know. Yes, this requires more time and effort, but isn't your success worth it?
