Great video featuring the most quoted man on the internet, Zig Ziglar. Here he tells a powerful story of how to change your mindset or, how to stop “Stinkin Thinkin.” Do you ever find yourself with negative thoughts toward your career, business, friends, or family? I’d love to hear how you overcome them in the comments below. Happy Friday everyone!

I needed to hear this today! I was starting to feel overwhelmed and now I have an attitude of gratitude again!

I can be negative at times about the school work load that I have. In fact, I had not realized up until now I am (along with classmates) usually complaining about homework on Facebook. I do enjoy my classes and learning new things everyday. I enjoy being able to continue my adult learning experience as a distance learner. I also enjoy the resources available to me as a college student. I find that as I am listing these “positive” things – my gratitude list I am ready to “get in class”. Ironically, the first assignment tonight is to watch and critique a video. So I got motivation and half of one assignment done! Thanks Rod.

This is one of my favorite Zig Ziglar stories. I've had to employ this method several times when I was in a negative mood. It really does work.

This was a great video! One that I'll definitely be watching over and over. I've always struggled with negative thoughts (especially about myself and my business) but I've really been working on being more positive lately. If I do find myself being negative or saying something negative I stop and make myself think or say something positive instead.

Glad you liked it, Tishia. One thing I believe is that the words we speak forms the environment around us. Keep those negative thoughts from forming words and you'll find the success you're looking for. Thanks for commenting, hope you stick around and share the site with your friends!
