The End is Near!
“Repent now, the end is here!” shouts the crazed old man from the street. A confident smirk crosses your face as you drive by. You’re not worried because every goal you set out to achieve has been squished under the awesomeness of your productivity.
That’s how you feel right? Or, are you like most people and feel like you’ve got to make the winning shot at the end of the 4th quarter of the game? Come to think of it, there are some of you that have totally given up on the 4th quarter and are waiting for the new season to begin.
However, the question remains the same, have you accomplished everything you wanted to this year? Cast your vote in this quick poll and explain your answer in the comments below. If you have, what were your goals? If you haven’t what else would you like to squish underneath your iron hand? If you’ve given up, why?
Heck, I’ll even kick things off! Check out my answer in the comments section.

I've accomplished a lot this year, primarily with all of my work here at The Success Center. I even had a few surprise accomplishments like having a guest article on Problogger. A couple of goals eluded me such as a few e-book launches. Other than that it's been a great year and I see nothing but growth and more awesome things to share with you all next year!
I had a list of 10 goals. While I did not fully accomplish all of them, I made some very good progress on them. Among those goals: fixing up my son's room (my wife actually helped accomplish this one); further investigating a blogging business related to my area of specialty (making good progress here); running a 5K (did this in July, now training for 10K). I can't remember my other goals, but I will be rewriting a new set for 2010. Glad you got so much done, Ron!

My hat is off to you sir for running a 5K! I run for no more than 10-15 minutes, Kudos! The fact that you accomplished so much tells a lot about your character. I don't see anything but greatness in 2010 for you my friend!
I have accomplished several of my goals this year. I gave birth to my beautiful healthy baby girl. I have published my website and have set up a Blog. I am earning the income that I projected (satisfying). I have begun school and am excelling at that although not a goal that I set last year. I have met a lot of wonderful encouraging, positive people this year which is always a goal. I wanted to be more involved in ministering this year and I am involved in community associations and projects that I was not involved with last year. I did not get on the exercise program that I intended. I am going to work on that in 2010. Funny thing about goals, they come back bigger and that is a good thing!
I'm pretty sure that my goals got squished, but not by my awesomeness. I love your analogies. For me, I am doing the victory kneel – forget that the scoreboard says I'm down by 3 touchdowns.
Haha, Brad, now that's the right attitude to have when it comes to goal achievement!
Rod, I am an ENTP and if you are familiar with Myers/Briggs personality types then you will understand me when I say me…there are 27 more days left yet and I know that I can do amazing things toward creatively reaching my goals by the end of the year. The pressure is on and it feels good!
Rod I haven't. I was hoping to finish a course this year, but haven't even started it.
