Very well put! For anyone that has not read Mike's book, I highly recommend it. There's some very powerful messages in it for every entrepreneur.

Great article! Yes, we do need more people in business who use Biblical ethics and wisdom as a their foundation for running their business. One thing that really bothers me is when I hear believer say that you can't mix business and faith. To that I often let them know that I can not do business with them knowing how they feel.

God wants his children in every arena of life in which He can be glorified, that includes busniess!

Mike, thanks for the wonderful article. It was very well written and thought out. It's unfortunate that people in and out of the church sometimes have a view of business as being bad. God is Creative, He is the Creator! So there is no way He would have relegated 'good' to only one or two professions! I would argue that the best business people are definitely the ones who are seeking God first and serving Him wholeheartedly.

Thanks for leaving a great comment, companies like Enron definitely give business a bad name, but there is always light where there is darkness. I just wonder when will the light ever overtake the dark? I really think it's up to small businesses to take charge and give business a new name because of the tarnishing of the old. Only time will tell.

This post is so relevant and inspiring. I think we have all lost a little faith in business because of what happened with Enron, Bernie Madoff, etc. Business is inherently good, especially those that keep a good moral compass. Unfortunately, we hear more about the bad, than the good. That needs to change.

Excellent article, Mike, first and foremost, I love the scripture references. They are so on-point and on-time! Secondly, God does need businessmen and women to advance the Kingdom, not just preachers. We're Kingdom sowers and builders with our gifts, talents, and abilities. Thanks again for sharing.
