Update: Apple just announced it’s iPad 2 which will ship with a dual-core processor, 2 cameras, thinner profile, Facetime video chat, same great battery life, and more apps. Full review coming soon. Until then, the original may have just gotten better [expect to hear about a price drop soon].
There’s no doubt that the iPad 2 will be an awesome tool for business users, but the original is still great as is. Check it out!

The iPad is the best device on the market for movies, music, games, and more. According to Wikipedia, Apple released the iPad in April 2010, and sold 3 million of the devices in just 80 days; a true testament to it’s multimedia dominance. However, would you believe me if I told you it’s a great companion device for entrepreneurs as well?
Imagine going to a client meeting without your laptop and instead pulling out a multimedia powerhouse with everything you needed to seal the deal. As entrepreneurs we have a need to bring the office with us instead of constantly being tied to a desk. The iPad presents a unique shift in mobile entrepreneurship with its design, mobility, and scalability.
In this week’s episode of The Big Business Show, I’m going to count down the top 5 reasons you should buy an iPad for your business. I’ll also share with you a few apps that’ll help you keep your business running smoothly while you’re on the go.
For all you WordPress using pro-blogger types, check out the Padpressed plugin. It not only makes your WordPress blog iPad friendly, it makes it behave like an iPad app. Whenever someone visits your blog with their iPad they get swipe gestures, touch navigation, and more just like an app.

You’ll find a lot of Christian owned businesses but what does it mean to be a Christian entrepreneur? Does it mean you have the power to command financial blessings on your business? Does it mean you are tax exempt? Or, does it mean people should hold you, your business, and services to a hire standard than anyone else’s? [Probably more of the latter definition]
In this video, Paul Cooley tells a very candid and passionate story of what it really means to be a Christian entrepreneur. Be sure to tell us what YOU think being a Christian entrepreneur means in the comments below.

I got a tip from a friend that Kenneth Brown was in town not long ago. Ken’s story reads like a script straight out of a movie! He was raised in a poor family, had a rough upbringing, managed to pay his own way through college, became one of the youngest African-American owner/operators of a McDonald’s franchise, sold his franchise for millions of dollars, and is now a highly successful author/speaker. So, I had to pick his brain.
In this interview you’ll learn;
This was a fantastic interview and I had a great time meeting Ken. Enjoy the interview, it’s short, sweet, to the point, and powerful! Let me know what you think in the comments below. I love good secrets don’t you? I especially love a good secret that someone show’s me and doesn’t just tell me. I’m a visual person so showing vs telling works for me.
I came across this awesome Jim Rohn video where he’ll explain how American economics work and the secret to making more money. This is a timeless principle and it’s actually one that I’m working on this year as well.
After watching the short video I challenge you to list how you’re going to maximize “the secret” in the comments section below.

As an entrepreneur we are the quintessential fabric holding this country together. What it is you want to achieve, go for it. Here’s a little video to get you inspired. This is another great marketing video by a service company, but it’s really inspirational. Enjoy!

Note: There is mention of Marc learning from a “pothead” in this video, which I don’t condone drug use at all in any way. However, This video is still inspirational (yet, slightly funny) because you never know what skill learned will make you a million dollars one day. Enjoy.
